1. Privacy-First Architecture

CertScroll is engineered from the ground up as a zero-account, client-first educational platform. We believe studying for AI certifications should not require surrendering personal data.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

All your learning history, quiz answers, spaced repetition schedules, and mock exam scores are stored exclusively in your browser via IndexedDB (Dexie.js) and localStorage.

No user accounts or passwords exist.
Your practice progress never touches external application servers.
You can export or clear your entire history at any time from the Progress tab.

3. Network Telemetry & Analytics

We do not load third-party advertising scripts, trackers, or commercial pixels. Cloudflare edge analytics may collect anonymous network-level metrics (HTTP status codes, aggregated geography, page load latency) without cookies or fingerprinting.

4. Model Context Protocol (MCP) & API Usage

CertScroll exposes public, read-only static REST and MCP endpoints (under /api/v1/) for AI agents, research assistants, and developers. These requests are completely stateless and unauthenticated.
